An outdoor fireplace oven, where you and your family can enjoy a fire while cooking your dinner at the same time. The Casita Grill holds full size logs for a roaring fire. The Casita Grill is our largest chiminea. It has a built-in door to provide easy grill/oven access. The oven is great for baking, grilling, and holds up to 13" pizza pans.
The Chiminea includes two sets of fire grates for the firebox. A one-piece steel grate remains on the bottom for ambient fires for normal burning and cooking. A second 2-piece cast iron set is included to raise the fire higher in the chiminea firebox when higher cooking temps are desired. Use the normal bottom fire grate to enjoy the fire, roasting hotdogs and marshmallows directly on the fire. Insert the raised set to place the heat source higher in the mouth opening of the firebox before lighting a fire. This placement helps to obtain a searing or pizza oven temperature in the oven area. Pans or stones are recommended when using the high heat grates.

The Casita Grill is made for the long haul. Let's face it, most products people buy today end up in a garbage dump in a couple years. The reason is manufacturers not only want to sell their products, but they also want to sell them over and over again to the same people. We don't agree with that idea. The Blue Rooster Company engineers chimineas that will last a lifetime and then some. We refuse to produce disposable outdoor fireplaces. It's our goal to make the best chimineas available and our quality shows. Consider the Aluminum content alone is worth more than cheap sheet steel chimineas price. It is an investment that can be handed down to generations.
This is the extra-large version of our Casita fireplace we designed over 20 years ago. There is a smaller version knock off being sold.
