The Prairie chiminea is a new model for 2007. After many requests for a chiminea without the frills, the Prairie is now available. Made to the same dimensions as our traditional line of chimineas including the Dragonfly, Rose, Butterfly, and the Orchid. The gas conversion with deluxe 7 piece set of ceramic logs provides the enjoyment of an outdoor fireplace, with the convenience of gas operation. The deluxe ceramic fire logs glow when heated similar to an actual fire and can be positioned individually according to your personal preference.
The Prairie chiminea w/gas can be converted to a wood burning fireplace by removing the gas components and converted back again by simple installation. Propane and Natural gas not recommended for outdoor cooking. Due to different natural gas configurations, contact your local Gas Company for natural gas installations. Propane installations can hook directly to propane tank or grill.
Easy to light and clean burning (due to proper drafting), this new chiminea continues The Blue Rooster Co. line of unique chiminea designs. Made of heavy cast aluminum construction up to 3/4 inch thick in some areas, the prairie chiminea is built to last. Spark screens for the chimney and to go over the mouth for extra safety.
